Prepare yourself mentally for your detox. Try and wind down from being too busy. Set goals for what you wish to achieve with the detox. Write these down and focus consciously on these goals throughout the detox period. Decide the day on which you wish to commence. Prior to commencing, try and stock up on all that you will need during the period. Decide whether you wish to do the detox for 3 or 5 days. If possible you could embark on the detox together with a friend or relative, to encourage motivation.

Detox Plan

If at any period during the detox you feel distinctly unwell, stop the detox and see how you feel before planning to recommence. I must warn that dependent on individual, it is common as part of undertaking a detox to feel light headed, weak and even nauseous but these normally subside as your body gets accustomed to a new pattern.

*Sauerkraut is a thinly shredded cabbage that has been fermented. It is extremely healthy because of its probiotic richness. Easy to make your own.
